Important & Useful
Having followed Charles Walters, Jr. and his writings for 40 years, I would say that his book on Raw Materials was the best one he ever wrote. Thought provoking, but even if the economic theory is considered deficient, it is impossible to understand American history from 1880 to 1950 without it. Various agrarian groups believed it. I talked to him on the phone about it 14 years ago while I was running for political office; one of the most enlightening 20 minute conversations of my life. Thank you for continuing to make this book available.
Explains how to achieve a "Pareconomy" in clear, understandable terms
This book is written in plain English, and helps those truly interested in learning how a "Par" or "fair" economy can achieved. via "parity for agriculture." In fact farm parity is the ONLY way to achieve and hold on to an economy that is fair to everyone, and it was in fact enshrined in the Constitution, which Hamilton undermined through his BUS and financial plan.
Don't bother with this one!
Love ACRES titles - but this one is a useless read! Seems to be a bunch of outdated info, absolutely swamped in useless charts and figures. Can't really know, wouldn't give it the time to actually finish it. Please stop offering this book!
