Wally Gerst is a Michigan consultant working with a wide variety of crops. He was the Michigan consultant for the late Don Schreifer who with his work back in the '90s started to explore the physical properties of the soil, the root zone, and finding limiting factors/constraints. Gerst was one of the only consultants mentored by eco-farming pioneer Don Schreifer. He works with large vegetable (lots of potatoes) and crop farmers in Michigan, seeing dramatic improvements in production, health and quality of the crop. He is well-versed in row support, biostimulants, zone of updraft, zone tillage and foliar feeding.
