Dr. Hue Karreman: Putting “Cow Signals” to Work on Your Farm
Cows send out signals continuously about their health, well-being, nutrition and production. The challenge for the farmer, grazier or herdsman is how to interpret these signals and act on them. A group of Dutch dairy veterinarians developed a system of interpreting the behavior, posture and physical characteristics of groups of cows and individual animals. Dr. Karreman is one of only a few certified Cow Signals trainers in North America. His presentation will also touch on hoof and udder issues within the Cow Signals system.
